IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support to end users and assist in maintaining IT systems across office and project sites. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support, preferably within a construction project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email, remote access, and onsite assistance.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, printers, desktops, and laptops.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and standard business applications.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and email configurations.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet access.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and shared devices.
• Assist in system upgrades, maintenance activities, and IT infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and update asset records regularly.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation setup and account management.
• Document IT issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.

Basic Networking Support

• Troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
• Configure IP settings and perform basic network setup.
• Support printer sharing and device connectivity.
• Escalate complex network issues to senior IT personnel when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7–9 years of IT Support experience.
• UAE construction company experience is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN, and Wi-Fi.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction project environment.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
