Front-End Developer Intern – UI/UX & App Development

HEMG – Helios Engineering & Mechanical Group is looking for a passionate and committed Front-End Developer Intern – UI/UX & App Development to support our software product development team.

HEMG is building digital platforms for Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, shutdown and industrial project execution teams, with a focus on mechanical integrity, bolted joint management, weld traceability, test pack / IDTP lifecycle visibility, evidence control and project handover readiness.

This internship is suitable for students, fresh graduates or early-career candidates who are interested in front-end development, UI/UX design and real-world application development.

The selected intern will work on live product screens, dashboards, forms, workflows and user interface improvements for HEMG’s industrial software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support front-end UI development for web and mobile application screens
• Create clean, user-friendly and responsive layouts
• Support dashboard, form and workflow screen development
• Convert UI ideas, wireframes or design references into front-end screens
• Work with HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript
• Support UI/UX improvements for industrial software platforms
• Assist in improving user experience for field users, QA/QC teams, project teams and management dashboards
• Test screens for responsiveness, usability and basic functionality
• Work closely with senior team members and product stakeholders
• Support ongoing app development activities as assigned by the team

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• HTML
• CSS
• Basic JavaScript
• Front-end development basics
• UI/UX design understanding
• Responsive web design
• Basic knowledge of Figma, Canva or any design tool will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of web application screens, forms and dashboards
• Willingness to learn and work on real software products
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks on time

• Basic React knowledge
• Basic Tailwind CSS knowledge
• GitHub or portfolio link
• Any sample UI screens or mini projects
• Interest in SaaS product development
• Interest in industrial software / engineering technology
