IT Specialist - Cloud Administrative

Join our Digital IT team as an IT Specialist in Dubai, UAE, where you will play a key role in managing cloud infrastructure and application administration within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What are my responsibilities?

• Work within a DevOps environment and support rapid infrastructure deployments in collaboration with software developers.
• Support 24/7 IT operations, including system monitoring and incident response.
• Administer cloud-based systems, including installation, configuration, patching, and security management.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure proactively to ensure service availability.
• Handle incidents and problems, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Manage software deployments, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Support technologies such as Docker, SQL, MongoDB, APIs, and DataOps tools such as StreamSets.
• Support application environments involving Enterprise Java, VB, and GitHub.
• Perform Windows and Linux server installation, administration, and maintenance.
• Support IT network administration and related operational activities.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and services.
• Hands-on experience with databases, end-user applications, and system administration.
• Experience with Enterprise Java, VB, and GitHub applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud system administration, including configuration, patching, and security.
• Relevant IT certifications would be an advantage.
• Ability to work in shifts and manage responsibilities independently under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
