Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor hotel revenues, expenses, and profitability.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

Accounting & Reporting

  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare financial reports for management and ownership.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor daily cash positions and cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.
  • Control working capital and optimize cash utilization.
  • Oversee revenue collection and credit control procedures.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain effective internal control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Safeguard hotel assets and prevent financial fraud.

Revenue & Cost Control

  • Work closely with Revenue Management, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Purchasing departments.
  • Monitor occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), and departmental profitability.
  • Analyze operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Review purchasing procedures and inventory controls.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Provide training and performance management.
  • Promote financial awareness across hotel departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5–10 years of finance/accounting experience, with hotel or hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Budget achievement and cost control targets.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
  • Cash flow performance.

  • Reduction of financial risks and control deficiencies.

Systems & Technical Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of hotel accounting and property management systems.
  • Experience with IDS Next including financial modules, revenue reporting, night audit reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to generate management reports and analyze operational and financial data through IDS.
  • Experience integrating IDS reports with Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS, POS, inventory management, and procurement systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience using IDS Next in a hotel finance environment.
  • Experience in hotel pre-opening, system implementation, or financial process optimization using IDS is an advantage.

Additional Key Responsibility

  • Maintain and optimize financial controls within the IDS system, ensuring accurate revenue capture, cost allocation, reconciliation, and reporting across all hotel departments.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
