Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Interior Designer with experience in the fit-out industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical detailing for consultant approvals and project execution. This role requires close coordination with site teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for consultant approval and construction purposes.
• Develop detailed technical drawings based on approved concept designs and production requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and designers to incorporate technical requirements and design revisions.
• Assist in material and finish selections, including sampling, sourcing, and supplier coordination.
• Attend site visits, conduct site measurements, and monitor project progress.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
• Prepare joinery details, furniture layouts, and technical design documentation.
• Support project teams throughout the design development and project execution stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in an Interior Fit-Out company.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and joinery detailing.
• Strong design sensibility with excellent attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in residential and commercial fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations, approvals, and consultant submission processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
