Mechanical Inspector

Job Summary:
VX Studio Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Inspector with a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision and inspection. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable regulations, including testing and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
• Monitor construction activities and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in project handover and close-out activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in construction supervision or engineering consultancy projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, testing, and commissioning systems.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, standards, and practices.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation software.
