Estimation Manager

Estimation & Tender Management

• Lead the estimation process for landscaping and maintenance projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and complete tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate pricing.
• Ensure timely and high-quality submission of tender documents.

Cost Analysis & Technical Input

• Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to gather accurate cost data.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness.
• Prepare cost breakdowns covering materials, labour, equipment, and project scope.
• Align estimates with current UAE market rates and company pricing strategies.

Value Engineering & Risk Management

• Identify cost, technical, and execution risks during the tender stage.
• Suggest value engineering solutions to optimize costs without affecting quality.
• Propose alternative methods or materials to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Support management in reviewing and finalizing tender decisions.

Supplier & Cost Database Management

• Maintain and update a database of suppliers, material rates, and historical project costs.
• Monitor market trends to ensure pricing remains accurate and competitive.
• Develop internal cost benchmarks for commonly used materials and activities.

Coordination & Commercial Support

• Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams for technical alignment.
• Support contract negotiations and respond to post-tender clarifications.
• Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings with clients and consultants.
• Ensure all submissions comply with client requirements and company standards.

Leadership & Team Management

• Guide and supervise the estimation team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and validate estimates prepared by team members.
• Provide support, training, and guidance to junior estimators.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in estimation, preferably in landscaping or construction (UAE experience required).
• Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, methods, and UAE market rates.
• Proven experience in tendering for both government and private projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and estimation software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
