🔍 Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Performance Engineer to drive end-to-end non-functional testing, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal system performance across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in performance strategy, testing tools, and system optimization in complex environments.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Performance Strategy & Architecture

• Design and execute comprehensive performance and non-functional testing strategies for complex systems
• Conduct architecture reviews and define realistic workload models
• Validate system scalability, resilience, and operability across enterprise platforms

Performance Testing

• Develop and execute performance tests using tools such as LoadRunner, Gatling
• Perform client-side performance analysis using Sitespeed.io, WebPageTest
• Ensure end-to-end system performance across diverse environments

Profiling & Optimization

• Perform root cause analysis and debugging using tools like YourKit, JProfiler
• Identify bottlenecks and tune applications for improved efficiency and scalability
• Analyze platform, infrastructure, and configuration constraints

Infrastructure & Cloud

• Work across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Troubleshoot performance issues in Linux/Unix and Windows systems
• Understand the impact of compute, storage, virtualization, containers, and orchestration

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement and utilize APM, logging, tracing, and OpenTelemetry tools
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across system layers

Database Performance

• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Evaluate downstream system impacts and optimize queries and database configurations

DevOps & CI/CD

• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Align testing frameworks with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and IaC models

Chaos Engineering

• Design and execute controlled failure experiments to test system resilience
• Experience with tools like Gremlin or Harness Chaos is a plus

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Performance Engineering and Non-Functional Testing
• Hands-on expertise with LoadRunner, Gatling, and performance analysis tools
• Knowledge of AWS cloud environments and distributed systems
• Experience with APM & observability tools
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning (SQL & NoSQL)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation frameworks
• Exposure to Chaos Engineering principles is preferred
