Site Store Keeper

Job Summary

An established construction company in Dubai is seeking a highly organized and reliable Site Store Keeper. The primary objective of this role is to meticulously monitor and manage the movement of all materials entering and leaving the construction site. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory levels, preventing material loss, and supporting seamless on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and control the daily receipt, storage, and dispatch of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Inspect incoming deliveries to verify quantities, quality, and strict compliance with purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, both physically and digitally.
• Organize the site storage areas to ensure materials are safely stored, easily accessible, and protected from damage or weather conditions.
• Issue materials to site personnel strictly based on approved material requisition forms.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits, reconcile findings with inventory ledgers, and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Prepare routine material tracking reports and inventory summaries for the site management team.
• Ensure the store area is kept clean, organized, and compliant with site safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Store Keeper or Inventory Controller, specifically within the construction, contracting, or engineering sector.
• Prior work experience in Dubai or the wider UAE is highly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with various building materials, construction tools, and site equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic construction site environment.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with suppliers, delivery drivers, and site engineers.
