Civil Engineer (Dubai Municipality Approved G+2)

Job Summary

A well-established contracting and construction firm in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring all work adheres strictly to local building codes, safety protocols, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities and operations.
• Ensure all project execution complies fully with Dubai Municipality regulations and quality standards.
• Review, interpret, and implement architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor project progress, manage resource allocation, and ensure the timely completion of construction milestones.
• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety regulations, and resolve any technical or structural issues that arise on-site.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid and active Dubai Municipality Engineering Approval (Minimum G+2 approval is strictly required).
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of proven, hands-on experience as a Civil Engineer specifically within Dubai.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of UAE construction laws, Dubai building codes, and municipal permitting processes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, excellent problem-solving aptitude, and clear professional communication skills.
