IT Technical Support Engineer/IT Site Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT Technical Support Engineer/IT Site Technician based in Dubai. Will be responsible for system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Key tasks include providing technical support, ensuring optimal network performance, and implementing and maintaining network security measures, Coordination with IT Projects.

The candidate will also support business development activities by assisting with lead generation, participating in sales campaigns, and identifying potential opportunities for the company's products and services.

The role requires active coordination with clients and internal teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for desktops, laptops, servers and users
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Configure and support networking (routing, switching, Wi-Fi)
• Configure and manage Microsoft 365, Outlook, and cloud-based services
• Install and maintain ELV and security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
• Install and maintain structured cabling and complete cable management
• Support troubleshooting of network connectivity and hardware issues on site
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of server administration, networking concepts(Switches,Firewall,Access Point, other network equipments), and user account management.
• Understanding of hardware diagnostics and peripheral support.
• Basic knowledge of structured cabling standards and networking
• Experience in cable termination, crimping, and testing tools
• Familiarity with CCTV installation and network equipment mounting
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and site layouts
• Physically fit for site work, ladder use, and equipment handling
• Good coordination and communication skills

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field
• Prior experience in a similar role are advantageous.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience

License/Certification

• UAE Driving License (Preferred)

Working Conditions:

• Site-based role across project locations
• May require flexible working hours depending on project schedules
• Operates from a shared co-working space when not deployed to project sites.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per hour
