GymNation, the Middle East’s fastest-growing fitness brand, is seeking a hands-on SEO & AI Search Executive to join the marketing team and help make us the number one result across search engines, answer engines, and AI assistants alike.
Search is changing fast. It’s no longer just about ranking on Google - it’s about being the brand that AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity cite when someone asks where to train.
We need someone who can help us win on all of it: SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation).
You’ll work alongside the team on the day-to-day - technical health, on-page optimisation, content briefs, local SEO across our gym estate, and our growing AI-search playbook. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our content, CRM, tech, and wider performance marketing teams to make sure we show up first, wherever people are searching.
We leverage AI and automation across everything we do. You’ll be expected to use AI tools and Claude Code to accelerate audits, content briefs, reporting, and competitor monitoring. AI-forward thinking isn’t a nice-to-have here - it’s how we work.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our head office in Dubai.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the day-to-day SEO of gymnation.com - technical health, on-page optimisation, schema, and content briefs.
• Run regular technical audits (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console) and feed prioritised fixes to the website development team.
• Write and optimise page titles, meta descriptions, H1s, and on-page copy - and brief the content team based on search intent.
• Help build GymNation’s visibility across AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) - the emerging world of AEO and GEO.
• Track rankings, AI citations, and brand mentions, and report share-of-voice - with clear narratives, not just numbers.
• Support local SEO across all 50+ locations - Google Business Profile, Tripadvisor, NAP consistency, and directory/forum/baclinks listings.
• Use AI tools and Claude Code to speed up audits, content briefs, reporting, and routine analysis.
• Keep an eye on algorithm and AI-search changes worth acting on, and support SEO foundations for new market launches.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• 3+ years in SEO with demonstrable organic growth, ideally in a consumer brand, e-commerce, multi-location retail, or subscription business.
• Working knowledge of Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Looker Studio.
• Comfortable with JSON-LD schema, basic HTML/CSS, and spotting JavaScript rendering issues; familiar with at least one CMS (Umbraco, WordPress, or similar).
• Genuine curiosity about AEO and GEO and how AI search is reshaping the discipline - you don’t need to be an expert yet, but you should want to learn fast.
• Multi-market experience (especially GCC) and English + Arabic are strong pluses - although not a strict requirement.
• Detail-focused, commercially minded, and a clear communicator who turns SEO into plain language for the wider team.
