Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Dubai. The Web Developer will design, build, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications that align with business goals. Daily responsibilities include developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, and optimizing performance and security. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, product owners, and other developers to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality releases on schedule. The Web Developer will also participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and stay current with modern web technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks for building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming, such as working with server-side languages, databases, APIs, and application architecture.
- Solid Web Development fundamentals, including cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and basic security best practices.
- Experience with Web Design principles, collaborating with designers to translate mockups into functional, visually consistent web pages.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver maintainable, well-documented code.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work constructively within a multidisciplinary, on-site team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in global or multi-sector environments and exposure to agile methodologies are beneficial.
