Project Engineer (Building & High-Rise Construction)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in building and high-rise tower construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all UAE authority requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Consultants, Clients, Subcontractors, and Site Supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Prepare and review construction programs, work plans, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate all authority inspections and approvals, including Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), DEWA, RTA, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure all mandatory inspections are scheduled, attended, and successfully approved.
• Maintain project quality standards in accordance with project specifications and company procedures.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support to the site team.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Coordinate project handover documentation, snagging, testing & commissioning, and final completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in building and high-rise tower construction in the UAE.
• Must have successfully completed at least two building projects from commencement to final handover within Dubai.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Engineer certification is an added advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of building construction methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of UAE construction regulations and authority approval procedures.
• Experience coordinating inspections with Dubai Municipality and other government authorities.
• Knowledge of structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection requests (IRs), and material approvals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, MS Project, and project management software.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of UAE construction experience.
• Experience in building and tower projects is mandatory.
• Completion of at least two full construction projects from start to handover in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality approval procedures and inspection requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
