Designation: Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure Manager (Server & Network)

Department: IT Department

Reporting To: Head of IT Department

Job Purpose:

The Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the organization's computer systems, networks, and information security.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and oversee information technology and computer systems, ensuring security measures are in place.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Manage IT staff, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, and procedures with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity protocols.
  • Ensure security and configuration of networks, servers, backups, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) applications.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Proactively identify and resolve IT and cybersecurity issues.
  • Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance and security.
  • Manage the IT budget effectively to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Define, implement, and maintain the organization’s information security strategy, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead assessments, threat modelling, and security posture reviews across on-prem and hybrid environments.
  • Own and manage security audits, compliance assessments, and remediation plans.
  • Design and enforce secure-by-design architecture across infrastructure, applications, ERP and IT services.
  • Lead security incident detection, response, investigation, and recovery activities.
  • Own Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes including user lifecycle, access reviews, and MFA.
  • Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and ensure least-privilege enforcement.
  • Develop, maintain, and test BCP/DR plans for critical infrastructure and systems.
  • Promote a strong security awareness and culture across the organization.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the department head.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum years of experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on cybersecurity.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Strong team and people management skills.
  • Experience in computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications, and IT security protocols.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows server environments, office applications, and exchange servers.
  • Strong management and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, with a focus on task prioritization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
