Position Overview

The Production Engineer – Aluminum & Façade is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising factory production activities related to aluminum, glazing, curtain wall, and architectural metal works. The role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Design, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Project teams to ensure smooth production and successful project execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Execution

• Plan and supervise the production of aluminum, façade, glazing, doors, windows, and architectural metal works.
• Review shop drawings, cutting lists, material schedules, and production plans before fabrication.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and resources to achieve production targets.
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and minimize waste.

Manufacturing Operations

• Coordinate fabrication, machining, assembly, glazing, and finishing activities.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor machine utilization and improve manufacturing productivity.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all fabricated products comply with project specifications and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and final approvals.
• Minimize rework through effective production control and continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and company Quality Management Systems.

Coordination

• Work closely with Design, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Project teams.
• Coordinate material availability with Procurement and Stores.
• Ensure timely dispatch of completed materials to project sites.
• Support project teams by resolving production-related technical issues.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Promote and enforce company HSE policies within the factory.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to maintain a safe and organized production environment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE/KSA safety regulations and manufacturing standards.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Monitor KPIs including productivity, efficiency, material utilization, and production output.
• Analyze production data and recommend process improvements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
