Job Summary
The MEP Draughtsman is responsible for preparing coordinated MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems in accordance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and BIM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Produce coordinated drawings with Architectural and Structural disciplines.
- Develop builders' work drawings and sleeve drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Coordinate with site engineers and BIM team.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, and consultant requirements.
- Revise drawings as per consultant comments.
Software Skills
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP
- Navisworks
- MS Office
Qualification
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of UAE contracting experience.
Experience:
- HVAC / Drainage / Plumbing / Firefighting: 7 years (Required)
