Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable Rust Engineer to join an international engineering team. This fully English-speaking role focuses on the core lending system, delivering high-availability, low-latency services that underpin secure financial workflows. You will contribute to evolving our architecture in a dynamic AI-driven development environment, balancing rigorous technical standards with practical delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop components for loan origination, risk decisioning, and ledger functionality, ensuring correctness under heavy concurrency.
  • Uphold code quality through comprehensive tests, peer reviews, and idiomatic Rust practices.
  • Influence architectural decisions using Domain-Driven Design and microservice patterns to support scalable growth.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development, testing, and debugging efforts.
  • Optimize performance to minimize memory contention, identify bottlenecks, and meet stringent financial-grade SLAs.
  • Collaborate with global teams in English, participating in code reviews and cross-functional planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English for technical discussions and asynchronous collaboration.
  • 3+ years of backend experience in a high-performance language (Rust, Go, Java, C++), with strong concurrency and memory management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and distributed systems; familiarity with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • openness to AI-assisted coding tools; ability to craft prompts and integrate AI-driven workflows.
  • Demonstrated security awareness and accountability; self-driven with a track record of global collaboration.
  • Nice-to-have: Rust ecosystem familiarity (Tokio, Serde, SQLx); Redis/Kafka experience; fintech or core lending background; cloud-native tech (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP); open-source contributions.
