Driver Cum Electrician (AV System Integration Company)

Job Summary:

The Driver Cum Electrician is responsible for the safe transportation of AV equipment, tools, and personnel to project sites while assisting in the installation, wiring, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Audio Visual system integration projects. The role requires a combination of driving skills, electrical knowledge, and hands-on experience supporting AV installations in commercial, corporate, hospitality, education, and government environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving Responsibilities

* Safely transport AV equipment, materials, tools, and project staff to and from project sites.

* Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment and materials.

* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily vehicle inspections.

* Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and report any defects.

* Comply with UAE traffic laws and company safety policies.

• Electrical & AV Installation Responsibilities

* Assist technicians and engineers in the installation of AV system integration projects.

* Perform cable pulling, cable dressing, cable termination, and labeling.

* Install conduits, trunking, cable trays, floor boxes, and containment systems.

* Assist in power wiring and electrical connections for AV equipment.

* Mount and install displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, racks, and AV accessories.

* Support the installation of LED walls, video walls, digital signage, and conference room systems.

* Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical and AV systems.

* Assist in system commissioning and site handover activities.

* Ensure installations comply with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

• Maintenance & Support

* Perform preventive maintenance of AV equipment and electrical systems.

* Identify and report equipment faults and site issues.

* Support service and maintenance visits as required.

* Maintain tools, test equipment, and installation materials in good condition.

Requirements:

* Valid UAE Driving License.

* ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electrician Trade.

* Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation, preferably in AV, ELV, or system integration projects.

* Knowledge of cable termination, power distribution, and electrical safety practices.

* Ability to use electrical hand tools and testing equipment.

* Basic understanding of AV systems, including audio, video, control, and conferencing solutions.

* Ability to read installation drawings and cable schedules.

* Willingness to work on-site and travel across the UAE.
