We are seeking a commercially focused and highly experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance operations and support the company's continued growth within the contracting and construction industry.

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete financial and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, profitability, and financial stability across multiple projects and business units.

The ideal candidate must have substantial UAE contracting or construction industry experience and possess strong expertise in project accounting, job costing, cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, banking facilities, Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and contract-related financial management.

Candidates holding a CA qualification will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting operations of the company.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee project accounting, job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP), revenue recognition, retention accounting, progress billing, and project variations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions to optimize cash flow and working capital.
• Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and trade finance activities.
• Review project contracts and identify financial risks, obligations, and opportunities.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and financial performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, corporate policies, and statutory requirements.
• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities.
• Implement and strengthen financial controls, policies, procedures, and ERP systems.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Requirements

• CA preferred; ACCA, CPA, CMA, or Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting will also be considered.
• Minimum 15–20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or similar senior finance leadership role.
• Mandatory UAE experience within Contracting, Construction, Engineering, or Interior Fit-Out companies.
