Job Description:

CBE GULF is seeking additional experienced Senior Electrical Engineers with at least 5 years of experience to lead the design, execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of MEP and electrical systems for residential and commercial projects. Adherence to project specifications, Dewa standards, and local authority requirements is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and review of LV electrical systems, power distribution networks, lighting systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Prepare and verify electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, fault level studies, and equipment selection.
• Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical layouts, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Manage the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of transformers, generators, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, and related electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, IEC, BS, and other applicable standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review technical submittals, material approvals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor quality standards, and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, variation orders, project reports, and progress updates.
• Monitor project schedules, resource allocation, and productivity to achieve project milestones.
• Supervise and mentor engineers, supervisors, and technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Oversee earthing, lightning protection, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and backup power systems.
• Support procurement activities, vendor evaluations, and technical bid assessments.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage project close-out activities, testing records, O&M manuals, and final handover documentation.
