Description
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and report shortages.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
Material Receiving & Issuance
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Check materials for quality, quantity, and damage.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site teams as per approved requests.
- Maintain records of all material movements.
Warehouse Operations
- Organize and store materials safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of stock items.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store/warehouse.
- Implement proper storage methods to prevent damage or loss.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs), material issue vouchers, and stock registers.
- Update inventory management systems or Excel records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and project teams regarding stock status.
Coordination with Project Sites
- Arrange timely dispatch of materials to project locations.
- Track material consumption for ongoing projects.
- Assist project managers and site engineers with material requirements.
- Monitor returns of unused materials and tools from sites.
Asset & Tool Management
- Keep records of company tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Monitor tool issuance and return.
- Report damaged, lost, or obsolete items.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies and UAE health and safety regulations.
- Ensure safe handling of materials, especially glass, chemicals, paints, and joinery items commonly used in interior projects.
- Support internal and external audits.
Key Skills Required
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
- Familiarity with interior fit-out materials (wood, MDF, hardware, glass, gypsum, paint, etc.).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP systems).
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
