As a Global Situation Monitoring and Travel Risk Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in enhancing our organizational resilience through continuous monitoring and assessment of global events, business trips, emerging risks, and security developments. As a part of the Corporate Resilience and Security department working closely with the functions Site Security, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Executive Management, you will provide timely intelligence, actionable insights, and early warning information to support informed decision-making across the organization. Your work will help ensure that Quantum Systems remains prepared for a rapidly evolving global risk environment and can effectively respond to potential disruptions affecting our people, operations, and business activities worldwide.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Monitor global geopolitical, security, environmental, and operational developments that may impact the company, its employees, assets, or business operations.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate emerging risks, threats, and opportunities through structured intelligence reporting and situation updates.
  • Produce regular security briefings, risk assessments, executive summaries, and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders and management.
  • Maintain and continuously improve monitoring processes, escalation procedures, and early warning mechanisms.
  • Administrate travel risk management activities by tracking global developments, administrating travel management and travel risk management tools, providing country risk assessments, travel advisories, and incident monitoring.
  • Assist in crisis management and business continuity activities by delivering situational awareness and decision-support products during incidents.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate information from multiple sources to ensure accurate and timely reporting. OSINT research and providing clear and structured reporting will be one of the core tasks.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Security, Business Continuity, IT, and operational teams to assess the potential impact of global developments on company operations, and personnel.
  • Maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and monitoring platforms to enhance visibility of relevant risks and incidents.
  • Contribute to the development of intelligence products, threat assessments, and resilience initiatives that support the company’s strategic objectives.

What you bring to the team:

  • A degree in Security Studies, Risk Management, International Relations, Political Science, Intelligence Analysis, Business Continuity Management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in security intelligence, risk analysis, crisis management, corporate security, military intelligence, public-sector security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of geopolitical developments, security threats, operational risks, and global risk management principles.
  • Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting complex information from diverse sources and development of Open-Source-Intelligence Products.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to transform large volumes of information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with experience preparing reports and briefings for different stakeholder levels.
  • A structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to managing dynamic situations and competing priorities.
  • High levels of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience with intelligence platforms, risk monitoring tools, OSINT methodologies, or situational awareness systems is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience within defense, military, intelligence services, law enforcement, emergency management, or critical infrastructure sectors is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are highly desirable.
