As CRM Manager Lifecycle, you will be a key technical contributor in our CRM team, owning the setup, automation, and optimization of customer lifecycle programs at BESTSECRET. You will work closely with the Team Lead and collaborate across CRM, Data, and Tech to deliver impactful, data-driven customer communication.

Lifecycle Strategy & Journey Development

  • Own the end-to-end setup, execution, and optimization of automated lifecycle journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Translate lifecycle strategy into scalable technical implementations, ensuring journeys are robust, maintainable, and performance-driven.

  • Proactively identify gaps in the lifecycle coverage and propose new touchpoints based on data insights. Technical Implementation & Automation

  • Design and implement scalable, multi-step customer journeys across channels (email, push, in-app) to drive engagement, conversion, and retention.

  • Write and maintain SQL queries for audience segmentation, data extraction, and journey logic within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Intelligence reports / automation studio

  • Develop and manage data extensions, automation workflows, and AMPscript / personalization logic for dynamic content delivery.

  • Ensure technical quality through thorough QA processes and documentation of all lifecycle setups. Data & Personalization

  • Work with customer data to build precise audience segments and trigger-based communication logic.

  • Develop personalization concepts using behavioral signals, lifecycle stage, and purchase history.

  • Collaborate with Data teams to align on data availability, hygiene, and scalability of segment logic. Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze lifecycle program performance using Power BI and SFMC reporting; derive actionable insights on engagement, conversion, and revenue impact.

  • Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests to continuously improve journey performance.

  • Report on lifecycle KPIs on a regular basis. Collaboration

  • Act as the technical CRM point of contact for lifecycle topics within the broader CRM team.

  • Work closely with CRM Campaigns and Project Manager, Tech, and Data teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.

  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement of CRM processes and tooling. Your Profile

This role is ideal for a hands-on CRM professional with a solid technical foundation who wants to own and scale lifecycle programs in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification

  • 2–4 years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing

  • Solid hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio)

  • Proficiency in SQL for segmentation and data handling within SFMC

  • Understanding of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud data model (Data Extensions, sendable structures, Subscriber Key) and how it is used for segmentation and triggered communication

  • Good understanding of HTML and AMPscript or comparable personalization scripting

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations

  • Structured, detail-oriented way of working with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Good communication skills in English; German is a plus Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), CloudPages and cross-channel journey orchestration

  • Familiarity with Power BI or comparable analytics/BI tools

  • Understanding of customer lifecycle frameworks and retention mechanics

  • Interest in AI-driven CRM optimization (send-time optimization, predictive audiences, content personalization)
