As Assistant Manager Production Scheduling (m/f/d), you are responsible for the efficient planning, coordination, and monitoring of production processes, taking into account capacities, deadlines, and economic considerations. In addition, you will provide technical leadership to a team, ensure the timely execution of orders, and contribute to the continuous optimization and digitalization of production processes. Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor production processes in close collaboration with production management, considering capacities, deadlines, and order volumes
- Define realistic delivery dates and ensure the timely execution of production orders
- Review ERP planning proposals and manage the creation, control, and tracking of production orders
- Ensure the availability and completeness of all production-relevant documentation and approve production orders
- Maintain ERP master data (e.g., BOMs, work plans) and lead the team by prioritizing tasks, coordinating workflows, and supporting employee development Show your expertise
- Completed degree in Production Management / Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Logistics / Supply Chain Management, alternatively, a completed technical vocational training with further qualification (e.g., Master Craftsman, Technician) and relevant professional experience
- Strong understanding of production processes, production planning, and material flow
- Experience with ERP systems as well as in analyzing and evaluating production KPIs
- Strong organizational skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Ability to manage and prioritize complex tasks and processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strong team orientation
- Strong analytical skills and experience in process optimization and the digitalization of workflows
- Very good German and good English language skills, both spoken and written
