Senior Software Developer

We're working with a renowned medium-sized media company with print and online products, both domestically and internationally. This company offers practical solutions for independent entrepreneurs and decision-makers in crafts and hospitality, with a media portfolio that includes numerous trade media, books, seminars, a web radio station, online products, and high-reach business titles.

The Role

• Take end-to-end project responsibility, from requirements gathering and architecture to implementation, deployment, and operation.
• Develop and maintain internal business applications using C# and MSSQL.
• Implement and maintain websites and web-CMS with WordPress (PHP / MariaDB).
• Develop modern web apps for customers with Python (Backend), React (Frontend), and PostgreSQL.
• Create interfaces and integrations (REST / GraphQL) between internal and external systems.
• Build and operate deployment environments with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP), and On-Premise servers (Linux / Windows).
• Contribute to shaping technical standards and architecture within a dynamic team.

What You'll Need

• Solid knowledge in object-oriented and/or functional programming.
• Productive experience in at least one of these stacks: C#, Python/React, or WordPress/PHP.
• Proficient in relational databases (MS SQL, MariaDB/MySQL, or PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Experience with Git and common branching/review workflows.
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems.
• Eagerness to learn and curiosity for new technologies and stacks.
• Excellent German language skills (working and communication language).
