Setting Out Engineer – Data Centre Project | Munich, Germany

SilverBack is recruiting an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a major Data Centre project in Munich, Germany.

Location: Munich, Germany

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain site control points, grid lines, and benchmarks.
• Set out foundations, slabs, steelwork, services, and finishes.
• Carry out dimensional checks and as-built surveys.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Maintain survey records and support QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Identify and report drawing discrepancies, clashes, and site issues.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment.
• Promote safe working practices on site.

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering or Surveying qualification.
• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on large-scale construction projects.
• Data Centre experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Total Stations, GPS, and surveying equipment.
• Available to start immediately.

Rotation: 17 Days On / 4 Days Off
