Applied AI Developer (m/f/d) in München

Your Exciting Field Of Work In this role, you develop AI solutions for real-world, productive use. You combine business understanding in the field of electrical engineering with engineering know-how and technical implementation skills to turn requirements into robust solutions that make knowledge more accessible, support processes and create measurable value for internal users. At the same time, you contribute your experience to architecture decisions, quality standards and best practices, helping to strengthen the team’s long-term AI capabilities.

• Shaping the future: Develop AI solutions that improve access to engineering and product knowledge and create tangible value for internal users.
• Understanding technology: Translate business and domain requirements, especially in electrical engineering and product knowledge, into technical solution concepts in close collaboration with stakeholders, product owners and domain experts.
• Creating new solutions: Drive AI capabilities across the full process - from prototyping and evaluation to the productive implementation of model-based and workflow-driven solutions.
• Driving performance: Ensure solution quality, reliability and scalability by applying sound engineering practices and suitable validation approaches for knowledge-intensive use cases.
• Sharing expertise: Contribute to standards, architecture decisions and best practices for applied AI development and actively share your knowledge within the team.
• Collaborating as a team: Support colleagues with your expertise, develop scalable implementation patterns together and help build lasting AI capabilities across the company.

Your Convincing Skills

• Basics: Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable field - or a comparable practical qualification with relevant experience.
• Knowledge: Several years of professional experience in AI, machine learning or applied data-driven product development, as well as hands-on experience in designing, prototyping and developing AI solutions in business or product environments.
• Passion: A genuine interest in identifying AI use cases with real value, implementing them pragmatically and turning technological potential into productive solutions.
• Communication: Ability to work effectively across technical and business interfaces and to translate non-IT stakeholder requirements into sustainable AI solutions; confident in collaborating with different roles and disciplines.
• Strengths: Strong Python skills, solid knowledge of modern development practices such as version control, testing, APIs and deployment-oriented implementation, combined with good judgment for when AI truly adds value - and when a conventional approach is the better choice.
