We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Amer Sports Group IT , supporting our iconic brands such as Salomon, Arc’teryx, Wilson, Atomic and Peak Performance. In this role, you will take ownership of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) in a global, transformation‑driven environment and actively contribute to our journey towards SAP S/4HANA.

Tasks

What you will be doing:

Own and drive SAP GTS excellence across the group

  • As an integral part of the global SAP team, take functional ownership of SAP GTS, ensuring compliant, stable and efficient global trade processes

  • Cover key SAP GTS areas including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management and Sanctioned Party List screening

  • Act as the SAP GTS Subject Matter Expert for our global support organizations across EMEA, APAC and North America

  • Identify and leverage AI‑enabled capabilities and intelligent automation opportunities within SAP GTS and the surrounding SAP landscape (e.g. compliance checks, data quality), with a clear focus on business value and operational efficiency.

Ensure strong end‑to‑end process integration

  • Work closely with Global Customs & Trade, Compliance, Logistics and Supply Chain teams

  • Translate legal and business requirements into robust, scalable SAP standard solutions

  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, EWM and logistics systems

Shape our SAP transformation journey

  • Play a key role in SAP GTS implementations and global rollouts

  • Contribute to our SAP S/4HANA transformation programs as part of an experienced in‑house SAP team

  • Coordinate and steer external consulting partners, ensuring high‑quality delivery and sustainable outcomes

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience as an SAP GTS Consultant in complex, international SAP landscapes

  • Strong functional expertise in SAP GTS (Compliance, Customs, Preference, SPL screening)

  • Experience working with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA

  • Proven ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into SAP solutions

  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English, enabling effective global collaboration

  • A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset and confidence working in a multicultural environment

  • Experience coordinating external partners and consultants is a plus
