Your Work Environment Corporate Real Estate (CRE) is responsible for all ASML buildings, their infrastructure and facilities throughout their entire life cycle.

Your Responsibilities As a Competence Engineer in our CRE team, you will act as a subject matter expert and take full ownership of the performance, availability and further development of a critical facility or supply system within the technical building infrastructure at our Berlin sites in Neukölln and Köpenick.

As a Competence Engineer, you will:

  • Assume operational responsibility in line with Business Continuity Management and ensure its implementation with external service providers.
  • Monitor systems online to ensure optimal performance and continuously improve system operation.
  • Define optimal system infrastructure for all existing and new buildings.
  • Contribute to the development of global technical design guidelines and their adaptation into local factory standards.
  • Validate conceptual designs, P&IDs, FMEAs, HAZOPs, requirement specifications, test plans and test results as part of project phase reviews.
  • Specify user and technical requirements as well as acceptance criteria in technical requirement documents.
  • Inspect technical installations, process error reports, follow up on recurring issues, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the respective field, ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of norms, standards and legal requirements in building and energy engineering.
  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
