DHBW study program mechanical engineering (B.E.) 2027
In the dual study program, you will complete your Bachelor's degree within 6 semesters at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). Theory and practice are closely linked by alternating phases. You will spend half of the time at the university in Lörrach and the other half at Schölly Fiberoptic GmbH.
What You Can Expect
- Insights and collaboration in various departments such as production, production planning, research & development
- Construction of components for visualization systems, joining processes, application and optimization of the latest manufacturing technologies (laser welding, vacuum soldering)
- Basic knowledge of machining production processes, as well as working with design programs
Your Profile
- Abitur or entrance qualification for universities (+ passing the Delta exam at the DHBW)
- Interest in math, physics, technology, IT and mechanics
- Very good knowledge of German (CEFR C1) and good knowledge of English (CEFR B2)
- Goal orientation, ability to learn, enthusiasm for innovation and analytical thinking
- Hands-on mentality, enthusiasm and enjoyment of working in a team
