About the Role

Stark Engineering is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading BIM coordination activities for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems across multiple projects.

This role requires a professional with extensive experience in contractor-side BIM coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and construction support. The successful candidate will coordinate between consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure clash-free, construction-ready BIM deliverables and successful project execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Coordination

• Lead MEP BIM coordination throughout all project phases.
• Coordinate MEP models with Architectural, Structural, Civil, Interior, Landscape, and other disciplines.
• Conduct weekly BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review and approve coordinated BIM models prior to issue.
• Ensure all coordination issues are tracked and closed within project timelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM deliverables in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

Clash Detection & Resolution

• Perform advanced clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Analyze clash reports and assign issues to relevant disciplines.
• Monitor clash resolution and verify implementation.
• Maintain clash-free federated models throughout project execution.
• Coordinate constructability reviews and installation sequencing.

Site BIM Coordination

• Visit project sites regularly to support construction activities.
• Coordinate directly with Project Managers, Site Engineers, MEP Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors.
• Resolve on-site coordination and constructability issues using BIM.
• Verify installation against approved coordinated models.
• Support RFIs, inspections, and technical meetings.
• Update BIM models to reflect approved site changes.

BIM Management & Quality

• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, BEP, and client requirements.
• Review BIM models for quality, completeness, and constructability.
• Monitor model health, naming conventions, parameters, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate model submissions through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Project Delivery

• Manage BIM coordination schedules and project milestones.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support BIM Managers in project planning and execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of coordination models, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor BIM Modelers and discipline coordinators.
• Allocate coordination tasks and monitor progress.
• Conduct internal model reviews and QA/QC checks.
• Promote BIM best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in MEP BIM Coordination.
• Minimum 3 years as an MEP BIM Coordinator on contractor-side projects.
• Experience coordinating large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong experience working on UAE/GCC projects.
• Ability to work both in the office and on construction sites across the UAE.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
