Our client seeks a true player-coach, not a classic manager who only delegates and reports. You'll lead a small team of two Key Account Managers while actively working in sales yourself identifying opportunities, engaging customers, and driving complex sales processes in the public sector. You'll help shape the next growth phase across the German-speaking market.

Libraries are among the most important public spaces in society, enabling education, access to knowledge, and cultural exchange for millions. Your work directly supports these institutions in positioning themselves successfully for the future.

What you will do as Sales Lead DACH...

Sales & Business Development

  • Expand the DACH market and win new customers across libraries and public institutions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships for long-term partnerships
  • Conduct customer visits, workshops, and presentations to showcase solutions
  • Own your personal sales pipeline and forecasting responsibilities

Public Tenders & Complex Sales Processes

  • Guide public procurement processes and tender submissions
  • Create and coordinate proposals together with internal teams
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage multi-stakeholder decision processes

Leadership & Coaching

  • Provide professional leadership and coaching to two Key Account Managers
  • Foster a proactive sales mentality and support the team on strategic opportunities
  • Lead by example with an active, customer-oriented working approach

Market Presence & Networking

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional gatherings
  • Build and maintain a strong network within the library and public sector ecosystem
  • Monitor market trends and competitive developments for strategic positioning

What we are looking for…

  • Software Sales Experience: Multiple years of experience in software/SaaS sales with proven track record
  • Leadership Foundation: First team lead or management experience with player-coach mentality
  • Active Selling: Genuine enjoyment of actively selling and working closely with customers
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build long-term, trust-based customer relationships
  • Complex B2B Solutions: Experience with complex B2B solution sales and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Public Sector Knowledge: Ideally experience with public clients or procurement/tender processes
  • Language Skills: Excellent German and English communication (written and spoken)
  • Work Style: Structured, self-responsible, and proactive approach
