Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, clients, and government authorities.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and site personnel.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, quality control, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of contract administration and stakeholder management.
• UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage.
