Smooth is a fintech startup providing payment solutions for businesses, including payment links, QR payments, and POS solutions. We help merchants accept payments easily, improve their customer experience, and grow their transaction volume.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for onboarding new businesses to Smooth’s payment solutions and managing the relationship with onboarded merchants to ensure activation, usage, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential businesses across different sectors.
  • Present Smooth’s payment solutions, including payment links, QR payments, and POS.
  • Onboard new merchants and support them throughout the activation process.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with onboarded accounts.
  • Follow up with merchants to increase usage, transactions, and payment volume.
  • Achieve assigned sales, onboarding, and transaction volume targets.
  • Maintain accurate updates on leads, merchant status, and account activity.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to approach businesses and close deals.
  • Good follow-up skills and attention to merchant needs.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, POS, merchant acquiring, or banking is a plus.
