Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise CAD drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop detailed construction drawings based on architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape designs.
• Review project specifications, design documents, and consultant comments to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare material layouts, fabrication drawings, and installation details.
• Incorporate revisions and updates based on client and consultant feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, local authority requirements, and company procedures.
• Support the preparation of quantity take-offs and technical documentation when required.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and collect information for drawing preparation when necessary.
• Assist during project execution by providing technical drawing support and responding to site queries.
• Prepare final as-built drawings upon project completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant drafting experience in construction, landscape, or interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of lighting layouts, lighting fixture coordination, and lighting shop drawings is preferred.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical detailing

Candidate Requirement

Only candidates with prior UAE experience will be considered. Applicants without relevant UAE drafting experience are not eligible for this position.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,508.58 per month
