About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will drive project planning excellence, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project .
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align timelines and deliverables.
• Analyze project progress, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present planning reports, dashboards, and forecasts to senior management and clients.
• Lead planning efforts across tendering, execution, and close-out phases.
• Integrate cost and resource data into schedules for earned value analysis .
• Conduct delay analysis and support claims preparation when needed.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management , or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project planning, preferably in large-scale construction or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel .
• Strong understanding of project management principles and construction methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills .
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects .
• Knowledge of contract management and claims .
• Familiarity with BIM and 4D planning .
• Certification in PMP or PMI-SP is a plus.
