EDMP is seeking an experienced Senior Water & Gas Metering Engineer to support the development and expansion of our metering solutions portfolio.

Key Areas of Experience

✔ Water and/or gas metering technologies

✔ Product design, development, testing, and validation

✔ Metering standards, approvals, and certifications (MID, OIML, ATEX/IECEx, etc.)

✔ Smart metering communications and AMI solutions

✔ Utility projects and technical customer support

✔ Product management and roadmap development

✔ Technical evaluations, tender support, and customer engagement

Experience with leading metering manufacturers and utility projects will be considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications & Skills

✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field)

✔ Minimum 7–10 years of experience in water and/or gas metering technologies

✔ Strong understanding of ultrasonic metering technologies and flow measurement principles

✔ Experience in product design, testing, validation, and certification of metering products

✔ Knowledge of smart metering systems and AMI solutions

✔ Experience with metering standards, approvals, and certifications (MID, OIML, ATEX/IECEx, etc.)

✔ Knowledge of communication technologies such as NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, LTE-M, wM-Bus, or similar

✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

✔ Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment

✔ Willingness to travel internationally when required

Preferred Background

✔ Candidates with substantial experience in European, UK, North / South American, Australian, New Zealand, Middle Eastern, or Africa utility markets will be highly preferred.

✔ Experience with utility companies, meter manufacturers, and large-scale AMI deployments is a strong advantage.
