We are looking for a Technical Engineer – Automotive Installation & Documentation Specialist who combines strong engineering knowledge with excellent technical documentation skills. This role is ideal for an engineer who can analyze engineering drawings, understand mechanical assemblies, and create clear installation manuals and work instructions for technicians and end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret 2D engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Develop logical assembly and installation procedures for vehicle accessibility systems.
• Prepare professional installation manuals, work instructions, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Create step-by-step assembly procedures, including alignment, fastening sequences, inspection points, and quality checks.
• Develop user manuals and operating instructions for customers.
• Produce and annotate exploded-view drawings, technical illustrations, photographs, and assembly images.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Installation teams to validate documentation and improve assembly processes.
• Maintain and update technical documents in line with engineering changes and product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, automotive engineering, manufacturing engineering, or technical documentation.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical layouts.
• Experience preparing installation manuals, work instructions, SOPs, assembly guides, or user manuals.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, eDrawings, or similar CAD software.
• Excellent technical writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and workshop teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

• Automotive manufacturing
• Vehicle modifications or accessibility conversions
• Product development and prototype testing
• Manufacturing engineering
• Mechanical assembly documentation
• Technical illustration or image editing software (Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop)

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
