Description
Laserix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Repair Engineer to diagnose, repair, and restore electronic systems of aesthetic and medical laser equipment. The successful candidate must be capable of independently troubleshooting and repairing power supplies, motherboards, control boards, electronic modules, and other electrical components used in aesthetic medical devices without requiring constant supervision.
This role is ideal for an electronics specialist with strong analytical and hands-on repair skills who enjoys solving complex technical problems down to the component level.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic failures on aesthetic and medical laser equipment.
Perform component-level repair of:
- Switching Power Supplies (SMPS)
- High Voltage Power Supplies (HVPS)
- Motherboards
- Main Control Boards
- Driver Boards
- Interface Boards
- Communication Boards
- Electronic Modules
Identify defective components such as:
- MOSFETs
- IGBTs
- Capacitors
- Transformers
- Relays
- Resistors
- Diodes
- Optocouplers
- Integrated Circuits (ICs)
- Microcontrollers
Repair laser power systems, cooling systems, and electrical circuits.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
Perform soldering, desoldering, PCB repair, and component replacement.
Use diagnostic equipment including:
- Digital Multimeter
- Oscilloscope
- LCR Meter
- Function Generator
- Power Supply Tester
Conduct testing and calibration after repair.
- Maintain repair documentation and technical reports.
- Ensure all repaired equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Support field service engineers with advanced electronic troubleshooting when required.
- Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and reduce recurring failures.
- Maintain inventory of electronic spare parts and repair components.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience repairing electronic boards and power supplies.
- Experience with medical or aesthetic equipment is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
