MEP Cost Control Manager (7–10 Years Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Cost Control Manager to oversee project cost management across multiple medium to large-scale MEP construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective cost control systems, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets while providing accurate financial reporting, forecasting and commercial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project cost control procedures, reporting systems and financial controls.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Monitor project costs, identify cost variances and financial risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, dashboards and profitability analyses for management.
• Monitor procurement commitments, subcontract costs, material, labour and other project expenditures.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, Planning and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting.
• Review variation orders, change requests and assess their financial impact on project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations and cost control standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost control processes, reporting accuracy and financial governance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of Cost Control experience within the MEP contracting or construction industry, including a minimum of 5 years in the UAE/GCC with an MEP contractor.
• Proven experience managing project costs across multiple MEP construction projects, including projects valued up to AED 200 Million.
• Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost planning, forecasting, cost reporting, cash flow management, procurement cost control and project profitability analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Candidates available to join immediately or on short notice will be given preference.

Compensation: AED 16,000 – 20,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
