Naval Engineer / Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Naval Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, engineering, and technical oversight of marine vessels and offshore structures, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hull forms, structural layouts, and stability calculations for new builds and vessel modifications
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports
• Conduct stability, resistance, and powering analyses using industry-standard software
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant classification society rules and international maritime regulations
• Liaise with classification societies, flag state authorities, and third-party surveyors
• Support vessel construction, commissioning, and sea trials
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external contractors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in naval architecture or marine design (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in CAD and naval architecture software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Maxsurf, NAPA, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of classification society rules (Lloyd's, DNV, Bureau Veritas, ABS, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
