Job Description: Fresher Instrumentation Engineer

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support the engineering team in instrumentation-related activities, including installation, calibration, testing, maintenance, and site support work. The candidate will receive practical training and guidance to develop technical skills in field instrumentation. The role also includes basic sales support activities such as preparing technical details, assisting with client inquiries, and supporting quotations for instrumentation products and services.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

Must have a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Freshers are welcome to apply. Basic knowledge of field instruments, control systems, calibration, and industrial automation is preferred. Good communication skills and willingness to learn technical and sales-related work are required. A UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Engineer / Team Leader in daily instrumentation activities.
• Support installation, testing, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments.
• Learn and assist in handling instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, control valves, and related devices.
• Assist in wiring, termination, glanding, loop checking, and basic troubleshooting work.
• Support site inspections, maintenance activities, and preparation of service reports.
• Follow safety rules and use proper PPE while working at site.
• Coordinate with the technical team for tools, materials, documents, and site requirements.
• Learn company procedures, technical standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in preparing basic technical documents, product details, and service information for clients.
• Support the sales team in preparing quotations, technical offers, and client follow-ups.
• Communicate with clients to understand basic requirements under the guidance of senior staff.
• Assist in identifying potential sales opportunities for instrumentation products, calibration services, maintenance services, and technical support.
• Maintain proper records of client inquiries, quotations, and follow-up status.
• Support material pickup/drop-off, site visits, and other work-related assignments when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer / Team Leader / Management.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
• Willingness to learn technical and sales activities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.
• Ability to work at site and in office as required.
• Positive attitude, discipline, and commitment to learning.
