Working Student Developer Tenant UI Platform (m/f/d)
Allianz
Description
About the Job
Join the team behindTenant UI, our self-service platform for Kafka topic management. You will help evolve the tool from a manual administration interface into a high-performance, self-service portal.
In our ecosystem, aTenant represents an independent group, team, or application that shares a single Kafka cluster. While the underlying infrastructure maintains logical isolation between tenants, the Tenant UI gives each tenant owner a dedicated interface to view, create, and manage their own topics and service accounts — all within their authorized scope.
What you do
- Feature development: Build access controls, stage management (Non-Production / Production), and self-service monitoring dashboards covering topic health, performance, and consumer status.
- Infrastructure DevOps: Automate deployments and optimize backend logic.
- Quality UX: Write automated regression tests and ensure a smooth user experience.
- AI integration: Explore and implement AI-driven features to streamline topic administration and workflows.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for the platform.
What you bring
- Linux, Python, and Bash scripting experience
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization concepts and API security basics (certificates, PKI a plus)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- First practical experience with monitoring tools desirable
- Solid Knowledge of distributed event streaming and Kafka
- Familiarity with Docker, nginx, and GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use
- Degree in computer science or software engineering (in progress is fine)
- Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
- Stuttgart-based, available at least one day per week in the office
You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position - part time (16-20 h/week)
