Rebar Detailer / Estimator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Rebar Detailer with a Civil Engineering background and hands-on experience in rebar detailing and estimation software. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Arma Plus, Armaor, ASA, and AutoCAD-based rebar detailing software and capable of preparing accurate reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules, and material take-offs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reinforcement shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) based on structural drawings and project specifications.
• Perform rebar quantity take-offs and material estimations.
• Utilize Arma Plus, Armaor, ASA, and other relevant rebar detailing software for project execution.
• Review structural and architectural drawings to identify detailing requirements and potential conflicts.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure accurate detailing and timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Revise drawings and schedules based on consultant or client comments.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing records.
• Support the estimation team with reinforcement quantity calculations and project costing when required.
• Work closely with fabrication and site teams to resolve technical queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in rebar detailing and estimation.
• Strong working knowledge of Arma Plus software.
• Experience with ASA software and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and reinforcement drawings.
• Good knowledge of reinforced concrete construction practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
