Description

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

We are recruiting an Event & Operations Coordinator to join a specialist training environment focused on veterinary education and hands-on clinical learning.

The organisation delivers high-quality veterinary symposia and practical training programmes across Europe, combining academic learning with real-world, hands-on workshops. The Neu-Isenburg Training Centre is a key hub for these activities, supporting both structured training events and advanced practical laboratory sessions.

This is a highly operational, detail-oriented role where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of training events from preparation through to execution and follow-up. The role requires someone who is comfortable working in a practical, clinical-style environment and enjoys being close to the operational detail.

Key responsibilities

Event & Training Coordination

  • Preparation and setup of training rooms and event spaces
  • Coordination of catering, materials, and participant logistics
  • Ensuring all facilities, equipment, and materials are fully prepared before each session
  • On-site operational support during training courses as key point of contact

Practical Training & Laboratory Support

  • Setting up surgical and clinical training stations for workshops
  • Preparing specimens and practical training materials in line with hygiene and compliance standards
  • Supporting hands-on veterinary training sessions and ensuring smooth execution
  • Managing availability of instruments, equipment, and consumables

Operations & Logistics

  • Maintenance and organisation of training equipment and materials
  • Stock management and ordering of supplies as required
  • Coordination of specialist logistics related to training materials
  • Post-event administration including documentation and feedback collection

Candidate profile

This role is best suited to candidates with experience in a medical, veterinary, nursing, laboratory, or healthcare environment, or those with exposure to structured operational or technical training settings.

You will need:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and a structured, reliable working style
  • Comfort working with medical or technical equipment and materials
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to work

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, operational work within a specialist training environment and wants to contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality veterinary education.
