Global Bank - Frankfurt - Master Agreements/FFT Legal

We're working with a leading global investment bank and financial services provider, with a strong European heritage and a global presence across more than 50 countries. The bank delivers services across investment banking, corporate banking, asset management and private banking, supporting clients with complex financial and strategic needs. It is widely recognised for its expertise in capital markets, financing and risk management solutions.

This role sits within the Master Agreements and X Markets FFT Legal Team, supporting derivatives and financial markets activity. It's a really exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a specialist area of financial markets law.

The role will involve:

• Negotiating German law master agreements and related documentation
• Providing legal advice on trading arrangements and financial transactions
• Supporting derivatives and structured products activity
• Advising on netting, collateral arrangements and set off mechanics
• Working closely with trading desks and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with the review and interpretation of complex legal documentation
• Supporting the team on broader regulatory and transactional matters

What skills are required?

• Experience with derivatives or master agreements such as ISDA
• Strong understanding of financial markets
• German qualified lawyer preferred
• Fluency in German and English
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
