About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Performance Management (Resiliency & Performance Governance) to lead the performance management function within IT Governance and Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing a comprehensive performance and operational resilience framework that enables proactive monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of IT services, systems, and processes.
This role requires strong expertise in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), operational resilience, performance reporting, and executive stakeholder management.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance & Resiliency Governance
- Design and implement enterprise-wide performance management frameworks focused on operational resilience.
- Define and monitor metrics related to service availability, uptime, recoverability, continuity, and resilience maturity.
- Establish governance standards for performance and resilience data across IT functions.
- Drive consistency, quality, and accountability in performance reporting processes.
KPI, KRI & Data Governance
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) related to:
- Service continuity and stability
- Incident response and recovery effectiveness
- System resilience and dependency risks
- Operational and technology risk exposure
- Oversee centralized data collection, validation, and reporting processes across multiple IT domains.
Executive Reporting & Insights
- Develop executive dashboards and management reports that translate technical metrics into business-focused insights.
- Present performance trends, resilience metrics, risk indicators, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
- Lead monthly performance and resilience reporting forums.
- Provide clear reporting on incidents, root causes, remediation progress, and resilience maturity.
Governance, Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audits related to IT governance, resilience, and risk management.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks including ITIL, COBIT, and ISO 22301.
- Coordinate governance reporting and compliance activities across technology functions.
Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate performance and resilience review meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Challenge data quality and drive accountability for corrective actions.
- Identify recurring issues, systemic risks, and resilience gaps.
- Recommend and implement data-driven improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in IT Governance, Performance Management, Operational Resilience, or Technology Risk.
- Strong understanding of IT GRC frameworks and operational resilience practices.
- Experience managing KPIs, KRIs, performance dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Knowledge of RTO, RPO, SLA management, incident management, and problem management.
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC regulatory and audit environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
