The Requirements For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union, preferably Germany . Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Internship Mission As a Legal Compliance Intern, you will support our legal team while developing the skills to work increasingly independently across a wide range of legal topics. You will gain hands-on experience in Compliance Data Protection and Legal Regulatory matters, contributing to real business projects in an international automotive environment.
Throughout the internship, you will build practical legal skills, sharpen your analytical thinking, and gain insight into how legal advice supports business decisions, while gradually taking on more responsibility and becoming a confident member of the team.
Main Responsibilities
- Become an active member of the Legal team and support daily legal operations.
- Assist with legal advice provided to internal stakeholders across the organization.
- Conduct legal research to support the legal team.
- Support the drafting, review, and management of legal documents, including contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Powers of Attorney (PoAs), and internal policies.
- Contribute to the preparation of legal communications, training materials, and awareness initiatives.
- Manage and improve legal tech and digital tools used by Legal Compliance team.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including the organization of legal conferences, workshops, and team events.
Education Your talents:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law at a university within the European Union.
Skills
- Strong interest in the automotive and mobility industry.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment.
- Business-fluent written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Collaborative team player with an open-minded approach to different legal systems, cultures, and perspectives.
- Interest in digitalization, legal technology, and process improvement is a plus.
