Project Engineer – Landscaping, Swimming Pools & Water FeaturesJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to oversee the execution of landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, irrigation, and associated civil works projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, ensuring technical compliance, monitoring project quality and progress, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution

• Supervise the day-to-day execution of landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, irrigation, and civil construction activities.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays or risks, and report critical issues to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate site mobilization, inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resource requirements.
• Resolve site coordination challenges and maintain efficient workflow across multiple disciplines.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical updates on project status and progress.

Technical Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications before execution.
• Verify that all works comply with approved designs, project requirements, and client expectations.
• Assist in preparing RFIs, inspection requests, work procedures, and method statements.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely approvals and material availability.
• Provide technical support and solutions to site-related engineering challenges.

Swimming Pool & Water Feature Works

• Supervise the installation and construction of swimming pools, pump rooms, balancing tanks, filtration systems, fountains, waterfalls, and related infrastructure.
• Oversee installation of piping networks, pumps, lighting systems, control panels, and associated MEP components.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and performance verification of swimming pool and water feature systems.
• Ensure seamless coordination with MEP teams for integrated project delivery.

Landscaping & Civil Works

• Supervise hardscape and softscape works including paving, kerbstones, pathways, planting, turfing, irrigation systems, pergolas, and landscape structures.
• Monitor excavation, grading, earthworks, drainage systems, and site preparation activities.
• Ensure workmanship meets approved specifications, project requirements, and quality standards.
• Verify proper installation and operation of irrigation systems and landscape infrastructure.

Quality Assurance & HSE Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Enforce company HSE policies, UAE safety regulations, and safe work practices on site.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions to maintain project quality and compliance.
• Support internal and client inspections throughout project execution.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor material consumption and support efficient resource utilization.
• Assist in project cost control and budget monitoring activities.
• Prepare progress reports, work schedules, technical documentation, and project updates.
• Maintain records of inspections, approvals, daily activities, testing reports, and as-built documentation.
• Support project close-out procedures and final handover documentation.
